Obviously my blog describes my journey, and comes from my world view. We all react and form opinions from our world views. Most of my readers share my world view in some form. Obviously, from my world view (which you are very familiar with from past conversations), what I am saying is right. If there is a God, and if He is the God of the Bible, and if all those things about Him are true---and I believe all of that---then what I am saying is also true---He defines right and wrong as our Creator and the author of life. He is the defining line and all the arguments about right and wrong apart from that are nonsense. Coming from your world view I would completely expect you to disagree with me. Again, when I help your world view I would have disagreed with me, too :0) Have a great day and weekend. Love on that beautiful family and enjoy your time with them!Erick Reinstedthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17687593837022660081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5529365993866431111.post-11291621859758670262012-05-17T12:49:16.963-07:002012-05-17T12:49:16.963-07:00I hear FAR too often (like every day) believers in...I hear FAR too often (like every day) believers in various deities speaking like they're right, they know they're right and everyone else is mistaken. I'm glad to see absolutes go. I think there are a few absolutes (1=1 and such) but as far as spiritual matters and deities go, there are clearly no absolutes. You can believe that your deity is absolutely true and its morality is the only real morality, but you certainly can't prove it. To pretend something is an absolute is fine, but that certainly doesn't make it an absolute (except in your mind perhaps). What you really want is for everyone else on this planet to agree with you and make what you consider an absolute to be their absolute. it's just not going to happen and that's most likely a good thing.Twin-Daddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09569089477407382148noreply@blogger.com
